Amir Khan has revealed he plans to make several announcements in the next ten days as he prepares to return to training.
The British boxer took time out of the sport to appear on I’m a Celebrity, which helped to boost his image after 20 months out of the ring.
Khan has been dealing with personal issues, including the breakdown of his marriage, and injury problems since being knocked out by Canelo Alvarez in May 2016.
But, the 31-year-old has insisted he will return to boxing this year and teased fans he would soon be sharing some big news.
‘I am going to be making some really big announcements in the coming ten days before I go back to training in America,’ Khan said on TalkSport.

‘But this is news that everyone is going to be shocked hearing.’
Khan trains in America and has vowed to return to dominate the 147-pound division and suggested March as a possible return date.
The Olympic silver medalist admitted Kell Brook was a possible future opponent, but was more focused on securing a rematch with Lamont Peterson or Danny Garcia.

The only back-to-back defeats on Khan’s 31-4 record came against Peterson and Garcia, and the Brit is still eager to gain revenge over the American duo.
Khan was recently in Australia to witness WBO champion Jeff Horn beat Gary Corcoran and joined the queue of fighters calling out the Australian.
