Caleb Maraku sparked outrage when he was filmed attacking 19-year-old Taliesin Tardrew-O’Meara last year.
Footage obtained by 9NEWS shows Taliesin backing away from two men confronting him, in Gold Coast, eastern Australia.
Maraku then approaches and suddenly launches a shocking blow to his face – sending him crumpling to the ground with a sickening thud.
The teenager was knocked out by the incident on November 27, 2017.
On Friday (January 12), Maraku, 19, was sentenced to 12 months’ probation after pleading guilty to assault occasioning bodily harm, but escaped jail time.
He showed no remorse as he left court, laughing and taking selfies with reporters.

But now, a local landscaper has challenged the yob to a real fight.
Benjamin Vandenbroek was outraged at the sentence given to the man and wrote on Facebook: “Caleb you weak gronk, get in the ring with me for our charity scaffold boxing night?
“You think you’re the man jumping on a young bloke three on one.
“Let’s see how you go you little b**** c***.”
Maraku responded by saying: “Sort it out I’ll come down 100%.
“Message with the info and dates I’ll see you then.”
Even boxing promoter Jamie Myer said he would be interested in seeing the fight happen.
“If he’s half smart he’ll get in the gym and train,” Mr Myer told 9NEWS.
“It should be a lot different to fighting in the street, you’ve got someone in front of you that’s going to punch back, so it should be interesting.”
The charity fight will be held at the QT Hotel, Gold Coast, on March 24.
