Watch: NZ boxer wins absolute war in 64kg men's boxing

New Zealand boxer Richard Hadlow has progressed in the men’s 64kg division after winning an absolute war with his Seychelles Islands opponent.

Hadlow, 30, defeated Seychelles fighter Edrian Volcere by split decision in a three round fight at the Comm Games.

The 30-year-old won a split decision over Edrian Volcere after the two went toe-to-toe in a ferocious three round brawl.

He now faces a big ask to back up this victory after suffering a nasty cut above his eye.
