Local boxing event remembers fallen boxer

BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - Boxeo en Bryan 4, an amateur boxing event, is taking place Saturday, August 25 in memory of Isaac Martinez.

Martinez, a Bryan native and Houston Boxer passed away in May. He was just 18 years old and fought as the main event for Boxeo en Bryan 1, 2, and 3.

He is also the nephew of Manuel Longoria, the head coach and owner of Longoria Boxing Club. Money raised at Boxeo en Bryan 4, will benefit the young athletes that utilize the facility.

The event, hosted at S.O.S. Ministriesin Bryan, will feature amateur boxing with food and raffles.

Tickets are $10 at the door.
