DAZN is set to make its big splash in the United States this weekend.

The streaming service that just became available in America will stream WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua's title defense against Alexander Povetkin on Saturday. That fight is the crown jewel of a pretty slow weekend in boxing.
Here is a look at what the sweet science has to offer fans on Friday and Saturday.

Jon Fernandez (16-0, 14 KO) vs. O'Shaquie Foster (13-2, 8 KO), 10 rounds, junior lightweights

- The Draw: Fernandez is an undefeated junior lightweight prospect with an 88 percent KO rate. The DiBella Promotions product doesn't appear to have a tough opponent on his hands in the lesser-experienced and twice-beaten Foster. This is likely a showcase fight for the 23-year-old Spaniard.

- The Draw: Aside from this being a formidable challenge to the current king of the heavyweight division, it will also serve as the first huge boxing event streamed by DAZN in the United States. Matchroom Boxing and Joshua figure to be a major part of the streaming service's efforts for the foreseeable future. Povetkin has had some issues with failed drug tests in his past but he appears to be primed to challenge Joshua in London at a sold-out Wembley Stadium. If Joshua wins, he remains on track to face the winner of the Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury clash, which will most likely take place in December.

The Draw: While neither woman packs much power, both the champion Mucino and the challenger Salinas are known to engage in a brawl. This will be Mucino's first defense of the title she won in her last fight in February over Monserrat Alarcon. Salinas isn't expected to dethrone Mucino, but she should provide a willing partner in an action fight.

Cameron Krael (13-13-3, 3 KO) vs. Jose Borrego (14-1, 13 KO), 10 rounds, junior welterweights
The Draw: Like Fernandez, Borrego is a young (20 years old) up-and-coming slugger still gaining experience and exposure. Krael is only 24 but has already had 29 pro fights while amassing a very modest .500 record. This is a showcase fight for Borrego.
