As Mayweather continues to troll McGregor and continues to tease his entry into the UFC to fight him, online sportsbooks are beginning to set odds on a potential MMA bout between the two. Danyelle Wolf (US boxing champion & Olympian): 2/1
Katie Taylor (Irish boxing champion): 3/1
Joshua: 4/1

As for what Joshua, who ranks No. 2 on the Pound-For-Pound Moneymakers list, said this week about the UFC, “I’m riding with Eddie [Hearn, the head of Matchroom Boxing]. He’s backed me from the get-go. And the second thing, I’m a boxer. I’m not into the UFC so I don’t know what their plans are. But every time I’ve been asked about UFC and if I would make that crossover like McGregor did with Mayweather, I’ve said yes.”
Canelo vs. Alvarez getting tense: The feud between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golvokin in the leadup to their May 5 rematch has gotten awfully nasty. After Alvarez admitted to testing positive for Clenbuterol while training, he said it was due to tainted meat from Mexico. But Golovkin said this week that he doesn’t believe that explanation.
">Almost immediately after Floyd Mayweather knocked out Conor McGregor last August, online discussions began about the probabilities of either a rematch in the boxing ring or a matchup in the MMA octagon.
