3 El Paso boxers win USA Junior Olympics National Tournament

Kayla Gomez, Terry Green III and Hesser Montalvo all reached the top podium after a tough week of boxing in Charleston, W. Va.

The three El Paso youths won titles in the USA Boxing Junior Olympics National Tournament this weekend in West Virginia.

Gomez, 14, won her seventh national title, winning the 101-pound girls division. Gomez is also still ranked first in the nation at 95-pounds.

Green III won the boys 70-pound national title and Montalvo won the boys 50-pound national title. Both fight out of the Terry Green Boxing Academy.
